WordPress Developer

The WordPress developer will be responsible for developing, and managing the website; ensuring that it is duly optimized to facilitate SEO compliance as well as overall functionality. The candidate will also be responsible for front-end and back-end website maintenance, including content management, plugins and so on. They must be actively involved in the company`s other digital marketing ventures, as required.

• Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress
• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Deploy themes and plugins to the existing website
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workers
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
• Responsible to on and off-page SEO for the website
• Analyze website performance using the SEO tools
• Optimize the UI/UX for the website
• Collaborate with members of a marketing team
• Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practices

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a WordPress developer.
• 3 years of experience as SEO specialist
• Knowledge of PHP, JSon, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, Ajax and jQuery.
• Experience working with debugging tools
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects
• Basic knowledge on webhooks & API is required
• Experience in writing blogs in English is preferred
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop
• Should have experience with the SEO tools (SEMrush, Moz)
• Strong understanding of Google analysis
• Understanding of the integration of marketing pixels and scripts on the website
• Able to set goals for conversion for leads optimization
• Basic knowledge of Salesforce
• Good communication skills
• Team player
